At Petit Verbier, children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that childhood is precious, magical and should be filed with fun, play and adventure. We are incredibly lucky to be able to do that here and we adore making holiday memories, playing in the snow, creating masterpieces with arts and crafts and so much more. Unfortunately this isn’t the case for all children and for many years I have wanted to be able to take our commitment to creating safe, happy and memorable moments for children one step further. I am so pleased to announce that we will be doing that this winter season.
✨ From December 2025, we will be donating a percentage of every nanny and babysitting booking to Save the Children. ✨
Save the Children is the world’s leading independent children’s rights organisation, active in over 100 countries including Switzerland. Since 1919, they’ve been working tirelessly to ensure that every child has the right to grow up healthy, safe, and with the chance to learn. Whether it’s providing food to children facing hunger, creating safe play spaces for refugee families, or ensuring access to education, their work is vital.
To give you an idea of what these donations can mean:
10 CHF can supply drinking water for a child at school for three weeks.
30 CHF can provide materials for a play corner in an asylum shelter in Switzerland.
60 CHF can fund eight weeks of therapeutic food for a malnourished child in Yemen.
250 CHF can provide meals for 250 children in South Sudan for a school day.
When you book childcare with Petit Verbier this winter, you’re not just giving your own children the gift of care and adventure, you’re helping to create brighter futures for children all over the world.
We know the magic of childhood is precious. With your support, we can help make sure more children have the chance to simply be children, no matter where they grow up. We are excited about this first step in supporting children who need our help, and hope to be able to do more and more in the future.
